Visiting Spain
As we left London I think we believed that Spain might be the most holiday-like time in our trip. Though we did get to see the beach, watch Mackenzie dive into a large Spanish fountain, and get to speak Spanish with the locals, it was by far the most challenging part of our journey.
Even with the difficulties we were blessed to meetup and spend a significant part of our trip with William. William stumbled upon church online one morning at 3:00 am from his home in Spain. He was struggling as he faced a court trial in his home town of Belfast, Northern Ireland. We had the opportunity to film his story, which you can see here (condensed) or here (full interview) for a series at LifeChurch.tv. William’s story is amazing and he is on a completely new path because God led him one night to search for church on the Internet. And I found a new friend in William as his thirty minute video interview turned into a six hour trek back and forth across Barcelona getting batteries for the microphone, trying to find a decent internet connection and then holding the connection long enough to upload the video.
Enjoy some scenes and reflections on our discoveries in Spain (minus the heat).

Chris & Dana,
I’ve heard a lot about you from our new friends at LC in OKC. My wife and I were workers in N.Africa for several years, but lived in Souther Spain (Algeciras) for two years prior to that. It was fun seeing some fresh shots from the land where our boys were born. Hopefully we’ll be able to connect with you in person sometime.
